Queenscapes has partnered with the QNS Collective to to present "Rooted In Queens 16", a collaborative photo exhibit on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at QNS Collective in Long Island City. The theme of the exhibit will be all things green in Queens, an ode to the green aspects of the borough. While we all know that Queens is widely considered an urban oasis, this exhibit looks to focus on the borough’s bucolic leafy side.

We challenge any and all to show us the truly shady side of Queens. Photos to be selected solely from images posted to Instagram. All photos for exhibit should be tagged #RootedInQueens16. Each tag is considered a submission for the exhibit. Once your image(s) are selected, deadline to submit prints will be Wednesday, October 12, 2016.

50 photographs will be selected from all images hashtagged #RootedInQueens16. Exhibit on display until December 2, 2016.
