Come out to the #HiketoHellGate17 Photo Exhibit opening reception on Monday, May 15th 2017 at the Greater Astoria Historical Society located at the Quinn Building, 35-20 Broadway, 4th Floor.

The #HiketoHellGate17 photo exhibit was inspired by the photo walk of the same name that took place on March 25th2017, as a collaboration between the Queenscapes photography initiative and the Greater Astoria Historical Society. The double-bill program unites the residents of varying ages for a social media engagement project designed to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Hell Gate Bridge.

The 30 photographs displayed here were selected from over 530 photographs with the hashtag #HiketoHellgate17 on Instagram. While these photos were not taken exclusively during the photo walk, most were taken by attendees of that tour.
